All i feel is a smallest bit of sadness from this fight nothing more. The death was so predictable even for an anime and the fight wasn't passionate at all from the Asuma side, why did he go after such opponents if all he had going for himself was those 2 tiny ass blades and weaker version of Chiriku's jutsu. This fight was so forced towards killing Asuma.

I feel bad for Kurenai the most... and agreed, Shikamaru could've just considered wiping off the whole circle. Should've given enough time for them & maybe the reinforcements they called in could've reached in time. Tho yeah it was hard for the guy too... His scream pierced through my heart (T_T)

I was just annoyed at shikamaru and the two ninjas...like its obvious the circle had something to do with the ritual. I was literally shouting destroy the circle and use long distance attacks to prevent him from entering or creating another circle. But it is what it is, Asuma had to die, after roughly 50 episodes of making him extremely likable.
